A few years back I drew a name — Salim A. Fillah. A friend, a brother, and a teacher — much of what I know came through him. Alhamdulillah, the lettering went to print on book covers.
This year the same name got a digital home: salimafillah.com is live. The books, SAFOriginal, a way to get in touch. Dark, quiet, mostly type — the writing already does the talking, so the page only has to get out of the way. Hand to print. Print to screen. Same name, same hand.
